The UCW Radio Host Louis Velazquez had the opportunity to have "The "Cougar
Comedian" Tracy Tedesco on the Show.
In the
world of comedy everyone has a niche but watch out America, the nation's
first and only Cougar Comedian is on the prowl. A smokin' hot, forty
something woman strutting through the new millennium to deliver a
deliciously savage brand of social commentary every time she steps onstage,
something she's done quite a bit since jumping off the corporate ladder five
years ago and landing (on her feet of course) a career in comedy.
Impeccably groomed and ferociously funny, Tracy caught the eye of Chicago
Tribune editors while prancing around the local comedy scene in 2006. After
appearing in their cover story about women dating younger men, she was
contacted by “Geraldo at Large” producers, who immediately booked her for a
TV segment on the cougar phenomenon. Wildly popular with audiences, the
episode aired multiple times on FOX and CBS affiliates nationwide, leading
the Cougar Comedian to her biggest catch yet—a feature role in “Secret Lives
of Women”, the critically acclaimed documentary series on the WE Network.
Now spearheading the Cougar revolution, Tracy performs at comedy venues,
colleges, corporate functions, private parties and special events. A
flexible performer and seasoned writer, the Cougar Comedian will customize a
show to meet your specific needs—from PG rated to outrageously blue.
Tracy's empire currently includes the Cougar Comedy Tour, the
Cougar Chronicles blog, the Cougar Tracks newsletter, Cooking with the
Cougar and a slew of cougar—centric tee shirts, tank tops and accessories
for sale online in the Cougar Store. You can also find the Cougar Comedian
on MySpace, Facebook, YouTube and a variety of online comedy portals—or
enroll for email updates and experience the Cougar Lifestyle in full.
"Tracy Tedesco is a really great comedian, and there is no doubt that she is
making her mark on the world of comedy. I think that her love of performing is
her drive and her talent is her vehicle, I wouldn't at all be shocked to see
Tracy in more major comedy film roles in the near future, producers would be
silly not to snag her up before its too late. In this world of ours we need to
laugh and Tracy makes that happen with a bang," said Louis Velazquez, host of
the UCW Radio Show.
